We’re seeking a Human Resources Manager to take the lead on HR operations for a growing organization with 1,000+ employees and multiple branch offices across BC. This newly created role will oversee a small HR team, guide day-to-day HR functions, and modernize policies, processes, and systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys both strategy and hands-on work — someone who can streamline and automate processes, lead investigations, and act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees alike.

This is an in-office position located in East Vancouver.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead and develop the HR department, mentoring and supporting a small team.
  • Oversee policy development, updating outdated policies and ensuring compliance with BC Employment Standards and Human Rights legislation.
  • Manage conflict resolution, conduct workplace investigations, and guide managers through performance management and disciplinary matters.
  • Partner with leaders to improve employee relations, engagement, and communication across branch locations.
  • Support and enhance compensation, benefits, and onboarding processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual HR processes and implement more efficient systems (e.g., ADP).
  • Conduct onsite branch visits for training, coaching, and investigations as required.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategy with organizational goals.
What You Bring
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources is required; CPHR designation strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 4+ years of HR management experience, including direct supervision of HR staff.
  • Proven ability to manage conflict, lead investigations, and apply human rights best practices. Exposure to human rights tribunal processes is required.
  • Demonstrated success in policy development, process automation, and system improvements.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (local travel required).
