About the Opportunity
This role is ideal for a CPA with solid experience in Canadian tax who enjoys leading engagements, managing client relationships, and mentoring staff. You’ll work closely with Partners to deliver tax planning and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of private companies, partnerships, and trusts. The firm takes pride in giving their team members autonomy, professional development, and a clear path for advancement.

About the Position
Reporting directly to the Partners, responsibilities will include:
  • Managing and reviewing complex corporate, personal, and trust tax files

  • Providing tax planning and advisory services to owner-managed clients

  • Conducting tax research and preparing technical memos and correspondence

  • Leading CRA audit and appeal communications on behalf of clients

  • Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior and intermediate staff

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying growth opportunities
The Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of Canadian public practice experience focused on tax

  • CPA designation (or near completion)

  • Enrollment or completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Program preferred

  • Proven experience managing client files and reviewing complex returns

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency with CaseWare / CaseView and TaxPrep an asset

  • Experience working with owner-managed businesses considered an advantage
