If you’re someone who can balance strategic vision with practical, roll-up-your-sleeves execution, this could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations — manage deployment, configuration, and secure implementation of hardware, software, and systems.
  • Develop and execute IT strategy — design scalable roadmaps to support organizational growth.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for complex technical issues and troubleshooting.
  • Manage IT infrastructure — ensure server stability, backups, and documentation are up to date.
  • Monitor and maintain security — oversee patching, network management, and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Integrate and manage cloud services such as AWS, ensuring scalable and secure solutions.
  • Support governance and compliance — apply assurance principles aligned with frameworks like SOC 2.
  • Administer key systems and tools — including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SharePoint, N-Central, Proxmox, Fortinet, and Sentinel One COMPLETE.
  • Mentor and support junior IT team members, sharing knowledge and building capability.
About You
  • 3+ years of experience in an IT Administrator, Systems Engineer, or IT Operations Lead role.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
  • Hands-on expertise with N-Central, Proxmox, Fortinet, and Sentinel One COMPLETE.
  • Strong understanding of networks, servers, firewalls, routers, switches, and backups.
  • Security-focused mindset with knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks.
  • Skilled at managing both strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
  • Post-secondary education in an IT-related field is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting SOC 2 or ISO 27001 security audits or programs.
  • Background in cybersecurity training or awareness initiatives.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and optimization strategies.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications.
Why This Role
  • Blend strategic impact with hands-on technical leadership.
  • Join a collaborative team that values innovation, reliability, and professional growth.
  • Work in a dynamic environment where your expertise directly influences how IT evolves.
