We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to lead the integration, support, and optimization of applications and data across the organization. In this role, you’ll oversee the application portfolio, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, streamline processes, and deliver solutions that drive innovation and efficiency.
This role is hybrid and based in Edmonton, Alberta.

What You’ll Do
- Manage, integrate, and optimize enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HCM, SaaS, and DBaaS solutions).
- Develop scripts, automations, and low-code workflows to improve business efficiency.
- Oversee databases, data services, and analytics tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Provide technical leadership on AI, automation, and digital workplace innovation projects.
- Maintain and secure applications, websites, and related systems (DNS, SSL, domains).
- Collaborate with business units to improve Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, Viva, Planner).
- Provide Tier 2/3 application and website support, mentoring IT staff, and assisting the support team as needed.
- Create and maintain documentation for applications, integrations, and data systems.
- Post-secondary education in IT or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience supporting and integrating enterprise applications and data systems.
- Strong background in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, YAML, Git).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and system automation tools.
- Familiarity with AI, large language models, and modern integration technologies.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and best practices for application management.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Certifications in relevant technologies are considered an asset.
