Aplin Recruiter Rob Thomas Wins ACSESS Genesis Award

Québec City, Québec – May 9, 2019 – David Aplin Group’s Calgary-based consultant, Rob Thomas, is named the winning recipient of the 2019 Genesis Award by the Association of Canadian Search, Employment & Staffing Services (ACSESS) at the annual National Conference in Québec.
The award recognizes a recruiter or consultant who has demonstrated an early commitment to the recruiting industry by taking advantage of opportunities, taking ownership of their responsibilities, and working as a team member learning from experienced staffing professionals. Nominees for this award have been working directly in the industry for no more than 12 months.
Preserving the past and honouring Canada’s most dedicated industry leaders, ACSESS hosts the National Conference and Circle of Excellence Awards annually, however, the Genesis Award was last granted back in 2017.

Rob Thomas joined David Aplin Group in March of 2018, new to the staffing industry, with 15 years of experience in sales and management. He also has 10 years of experience in communications and public relations having worked with the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers. As a consultant at David Aplin Group, Rob specializes in placing sales and marketing professionals throughout the Calgary Area. A passionate and driven motivator, he has a proven track record of success and excels at cultivating long-lasting relationships.
