Our client is a well-established mechanical contracting firm in the Lower Mainland with a growing portfolio of commercial and institutional projects.

With work ramping up, they’re investing in strengthening their Project Management team to better support operations and project delivery.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
  • This is a high-impact Mechanical Project Manager opportunity for someone who wants to step into a business that’s actively building out structure, process, and PM coverage.
  • The priority is immediate: they need a PM who can take ownership of projects, bring consistency, and help create capacity as the company continues to pick up momentum over the next 6 months.
  • You’ll be joining a team that values quality delivery, accountability, and strong coordination across the office and field.
ABOUT THE POSITION
  • Lead mechanical projects end-to-end from kickoff through closeout (planning, execution, turnover).
  • Manage budgets, costing, forecasting, change orders, and reporting.
  • Coordinate internal teams, site crews, and subcontractors to keep schedules and deliverables on track.
  • Own client communication: meeting cadence, updates, issue resolution, and expectations management.
  • Drive project documentation and controls (RFIs, submittals, procurement tracking, deficiencies, closeout packages).
  • Support continuous improvement—help tighten processes and create repeatable PM rhythms as the company scales.
THE REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager delivering commercial and institutional projects (HVAC / plumbing / mechanical scope).
  • Strong command of scheduling, cost control, and change management.
  • Comfortable running multiple stakeholders and priorities without things slipping.
  • Clear communicator (client-facing) with strong internal coordination habits.
  • Local market awareness and ability to operate in a fast-moving contractor environment.
  • Experience with project management systems/tools (construction PM software, Excel-based tracking, etc.).
COMPENSATION
  • $100,000 – $140,000 base salary (depending on experience)
  • Full health and dental benefit coverage
  • Discretionary bonuses
  • 3-4 weeks vacation
