Join a leading financial services organization and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with a global financial institution to hire a Business Coordinator, Global Markets. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who enjoys executive support but is eager to take on more business-focused responsibilities. You will work closely with senior leadership and Business Managers in a fast-paced environment. Please note, this is a fully on-site role requiring 5 days in-office each week. The office is based in New York. 

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $100,000 USD + annual bonus
  • Strong opportunity to support senior leadership while developing exposure to business management, reporting, analytics, and process improvement within a global financial markets environment

Responsibilities
  • Manage complex calendars for two senior leaders, including frequent last-minute scheduling changes
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel from beginning to end, including flights, ground transportation, trip preparation, and required materials
  • Manage and review executive expenses
  • Coordinate meetings, track action items, and support follow-up with stakeholders
  • Prepare and manipulate data in Excel for recurring and ad-hoc reporting
  • Create and format professional PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership
  • Work closely with Business Managers to support business reporting and initiatives
  • Conduct research and help identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support process improvements and opportunities to digitalize manual processes
  • Act as a proactive business partner by anticipating needs and identifying solutions independently
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Sales Assistant, Business Coordinator, or similar role
  • Strong experience supporting senior executives and managing complex calendars
  • Experience coordinating end-to-end domestic and international travel
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Comfortable working with data and preparing business reports
  • Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented
  • Proactive and intuitive, with the ability to anticipate needs and work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Eager to learn and take on responsibilities beyond traditional administrative support
  • Financial services or banking experience is an asset, but not required
