Reporting to the VP, Construction & Design, the Project Coordinator will coordinate maintenance, repairs, and property improvement projects across a portfolio of restaurants.
This role will work closely with restaurant leadership, contractors, trades, and vendors to ensure maintenance issues and projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. Regular travel between locations will be required.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects across multiple locations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for restaurant leadership regarding facility and maintenance issues.
- Coordinate plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and general building repairs.
- Schedule and follow up with contractors, trades, and service providers.
- Obtain quotes, coordinate service calls, and monitor work quality, timelines, and costs.
- Coordinate smaller renovations, tenant improvements, and property projects.
- Support larger construction projects and the transition of new or renovated properties into operations.
- Conduct site visits to assess issues and monitor work as required.
- Maintain maintenance schedules, project documentation, service records, and warranties.
- Support health, safety, fire, food service, and building compliance requirements.
- Track maintenance and project costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend preventative maintenance solutions.
- 2–5+ years of experience in project coordination, facilities, maintenance, construction, property management, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating contractors, trades, vendors, and service providers.
- Restaurant, hospitality, retail, or multi-site property experience is an asset.
- Trades experience or practical knowledge of building systems and maintenance is an asset.
- Experience with renovations, tenant improvements, or construction projects is an asset.
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple locations and competing priorities.
- Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to identify appropriate solutions or trades.
- Basic understanding of budgeting, quoting, and cost control.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project or maintenance tracking systems.
- Valid BC driver's licence and ability to travel between locations.
