Benefits & Perks:
- Base salary: $112k to $180k
- Please note, this role will be Hybrid at the client’s downtown Toronto, ON office (3 days a week, Tuesday-Thursday).

- Support the Assistant Vice President with structuring complex investments, including private equity transactions and Canadian/foreign affiliate tax compliance.
- Liaise with foreign tax jurisdiction teams to ensure tax-efficient structuring of private equity and capital market transactions.
- Coordinate with Finance, Treasury, Tax, and Legal teams across multiple jurisdictions on alternative investment transactions.
- Oversee Canadian tax compliance related to private equity investments, including review of T1134 forms.
- Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from the Canada Revenue Agency.
- Stay current on tax legislation, OECD Pillar Two developments, and tax authority decisions, applying knowledge to complex transactions.
- Mentor team members and contribute to a dynamic learning environment.
- Assist other members of the global tax team on various initiatives.
- 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting, legal firms, or equivalent industry experience; experience with private equity investments is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of IFRS accounting is helpful.
- University degree in accounting or taxation, or completion of a professional accounting designation (or equivalent).
- Completion of Parts I–III of the CPA In-Depth Tax Program or Master of Taxation.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to handle complex assignments efficiently.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly and concisely.
