We are looking for an experienced Insurance Manager who is open to relocating to the beautiful northern BC community of McBride. McBride is a welcoming, tight-knit town surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and located just an hour from Jasper National Park. It offers year-round outdoor recreation opportunities, including snowmobiling, skiing, hiking, fishing, and hunting. It is an ideal setting for those who enjoy a close community and an active outdoor lifestyle.

Our client is a well-established financial and insurance organization with 14 offices across British Columbia. They provide comprehensive services to their clients, ranging from ICBC to Commercial Lines insurance coverage.

They are seeking an Insurance Manager to oversee the McBride branch, manage a local book of business, and provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the branch staff. Responsibilities
  • Manage a book of business of ICBC, Personal Line and Commercial Line with other team members 
  • Maintain profitable growth of the branch office by budgeting and maximizing revenue-generating opportunities
  • Lead the office members by coaching and mentoring on customer service, new products and compliance
  • Quote and bind complex coverage 
  • Ensure the team members' licensing and education needs are met 
Qualifications
  • Level 2 insurance license 
  • 5 plus years of experience in the general insurance industry 
  • Willingness to relocate to McBride
Benefits & Perks
  • Salary: $70,000 to $85,000 (Flexible depending on years of experience)
