An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Payroll Advisor to join a collaborative human resources team. The successful candidate will be responsible for full-cycle payroll administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all payroll and benefits functions. This role also supports continuous process improvement and provides exceptional service to employees and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process semi-monthly payroll and off-cycle runs with precision and timeliness.
- Reconcile payroll data and submit required remittances to government agencies.
- Administer employee benefits, pension deductions, and related adjustments.
- Prepare and reconcile year-end payroll, including T4s and other reporting requirements.
- Maintain HRIS records for new hires, changes, and terminations.
- Process Records of Employment and support disability benefit payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll legislation.
- Respond to payroll and benefit inquiries, resolving discrepancies proactively.
- Support payroll reporting, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
- 3–5 years of payroll experience in a similar role.
- PCP or CPM designation (or working toward certification).
- Proficiency with HRIS or payroll systems; UKG experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, benefits, and pension plans.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical ability, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
