We’re seeking a Bookkeeper/Office Coordinator to join a small, professional, and collaborative team based in West Edmonton (hybrid model). This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys variety — blending bookkeeping (approximately 70%) with office coordination (approximately 30%) — and takes pride in being the “glue” that keeps everything running smoothly.

If you’re dependable, organized, and enjoy balancing financial accuracy with office support, this role offers the perfect mix of stability, meaningful work, and a positive team environment.

What You’ll Do
Bookkeeping & Financial Support (70%)
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoices, payments, and renewals.
  • Handle bank reconciliations, payroll (bi-monthly, training provided), and financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist leadership with month-end reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with an external accountant to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and improve existing bookkeeping processes and documentation.
Office & Administrative Coordination (30%)
  • Oversee daily office operations including supplies, vendors, and mail management.
  • Provide administrative support to leadership, including scheduling and document preparation.
  • Coordinate logistics for board and committee meetings (preparation, catering, and follow-up).
  • Manage timesheets, payroll tracking, and membership data through an external system.
  • Handle occasional email and phone inquiries with professionalism and a friendly approach.

Who You Are
  • 4+ years of bookkeeping and administrative experience, ideally in a small business, association, or not-for-profit environment.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Ceridian or other payroll systems is an asset (training will be provided).
  • Friendly, approachable, and collaborative — a team player who enjoys helping others.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable, with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
