Our client, a leading Managing General Agent (MGA) with a national presence, is seeking a Strategic Relationship Manager to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong sales and relationship-building skills who is passionate about expanding broker partnerships, driving growth, and supporting marketing initiatives across multiple product lines. Working as part of the Strategic Relations Team, you will play a key role in strengthening distribution relationships and contributing to the company’s long-term success.

Responsibilities
  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with distribution partners across your designated territory
  • Plan and execute sales activities including broker meetings, office visits, training sessions, and networking events (both virtual and in-person)
  • Develop and maintain a consistent sales strategy and record all outreach activity accurately
  • Manage a pipeline of qualified leads to support regional sales objectives
  • Support marketing campaigns, webinars, and promotional initiatives, ensuring marketing collateral is prepared and available
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams by gathering and submitting detailed business information to support pricing and solutions development
  • Travel extensively within the BC region, with occasional travel to other regions for events or initiatives
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience, ideally within the insurance sector
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products across Personal, Commercial, Marine, and Professional Lines (insurance industry experience considered a strong asset)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage brokers
  • Collaborative team player with proven ability to work cross-functionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook; Access experience is an asset)
  • Professional, dynamic presence with the ability to represent the company confidently to brokers and industry partners
