Join a leading financial services firm in Halifax! Our client, a top employer in the industry, is seeking a Payroll/Administrative Assistant to support their high-performing mortgage and real estate team. This is a permanent, hybrid role (3 days in-office).

- Review 40+ mortgage files per day for compliance with internal policies and federal regulations.
- Support commission-based payroll entry and processing using Scarlett Payroll.
- Process recurring expenses and manual expense entries accurately.
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth team operations.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1+ year experience in compliance, payroll/operations, or administrative support; experience in mortgage, real estate, or commission-based environments is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills); familiarity with Google Workspace and document management systems.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
