Join a respected boutique real estate developer known for creating thoughtfully designed residential communities across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. We’re looking for a Project Accountant to take ownership of key projects from the ground up. This is a hands-on role offering end-to-end involvement and visibility across development, construction, and property management.

As the Project Accountant, you’ll work closely with the operations and finance teams to ensure smooth project delivery and financial control. You’ll manage the full accounting cycle for assigned developments and play a proactive role in forecasting, reporting, and driving process improvements. You’ll manage the full accounting cycle for assigned developments and play a proactive role in forecasting, reporting, and driving process improvements. What You’ll Be Doing
- Full-cycle accounting for assigned development projects, from acquisition through to sales
- Prepare monthly reporting packages and journal entries
- Oversee billings, WIP adjustments, and cash collections
- Prepare GST reconciliations, remittances, and year-end working papers
- Assist with project budgeting and cost forecasting
- Support continuous improvement across finance processes
- Mentor and assist junior accounting staff where needed
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience (real estate, development, or construction preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 300 and MS Excel
- Experience with budgeting, cost analysis, and project accounting
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to take ownership of “your” projects
- Able to commit to a one-year maternity leave contract
- Competitive salary: $70,000–$90,000 (DOE)
