We’re currently hiring a Temporary Payroll & Benefits Specialist for a well-established organization based in Vancouver (near Granville area). This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role supporting payroll and benefits administration, using Ceridian Dayforce, for a national team. This will be a 4 week contract with potential for extension starting immediately.

If you’re a seasoned payroll professional who’s comfortable stepping into an existing process with a quick handover, this is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Location: Vancouver, BC (on-site 3 days per week)
Schedule: 20–30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process semi-monthly payroll for approximately 130–140 salaried Canadian employees
  • Manage payroll adjustments, vacation accruals, and short-term disability calculations
  • Consolidate and manage payroll-related data and spreadsheets
  • Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Prepare post-payroll adjustments and reports
  • Ensure audit compliance and data accuracy
  • Provide general payroll-related administrative support as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years minimum of end-to-end payroll processing experience
  • Familiarity with Dayforce is an asset but not required
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to pick up systems and processes quickly with minimal handover
  • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative attitude
