Your Opportunity:

As the Accounting Manager, you’ll lead a talented team and play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence. What You’ll Do:
  • Take ownership of the full accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger processes.
  • Manage PST and GST remittances with precision and timeliness.
  • Prepare comprehensive month-end financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Spearhead year-end preparation and liaise with CPAs for seamless audits.
  • Maintain compliance with Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations while driving continuous improvement in processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Inspire and lead a small but mighty accounting team in a culture that values collaboration, learning, and innovation.
What You Bring:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation preferred).
  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory capacity.
  • A strong grasp of Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Expertise in accounting software and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • A passion for problem-solving, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to inspire your team and work effectively with stakeholders.
