We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of residential properties. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, computer-savvy, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage tenants, vendors, employees, and multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of residential properties and ensure properties are well maintained.
  • Manage tenant inquiries, concerns, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, inspections, and vendors, including negotiating costs and services.
  • Utilize Yardi to manage leases, maintenance requests, tenant information, and property records.
  • Monitor and analyze vacancy rates and trends, identify opportunities to reduce vacancies, and produce regular vacancy and property management reports.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports, records, and documentation using various computer applications.
  • Support leasing and marketing initiatives to attract new tenants and minimize vacancies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure properties and operations comply with applicable legislation and regulations.
  • Hire, train, and supervise employees as required.
  • Identify operational issues and proactively develop effective solutions.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in property management or a related field.
  • Yardi experience is required.
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other business software.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Previous experience supervising or managing employees is an asset.
