Our client a well-established electrical contractor with a strong presence in the Lower Mainland. Known for repeat commercial service relationships, fast-turn work, and a team environment that values ownership, responsiveness, and quality execution i slooking for a Electrical Project Manager/Estimator.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
  • Full-cycle Project Manager / Estimator role in a busy Service Division based out of Burnaby.
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities, estimating/tendering, and managing work through close-out (billing, purchasing, scheduling, labour).
  • Commercial service focus with shorter-duration projects (TI/retrofit/service) and high relationship touchpoints.
ABOUT THE POSITION
  • Identify and develop service project opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Estimate and price projects and change orders; prepare tenders/proposals.
  • Review contracts and flag onerous clauses/conditions early.
  • Own project financials end-to-end: purchasing, job cost, billing, and profitability.
  • Coordinate schedules and labour planning; partner closely with field leadership through closeout review.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships (clients, consultants, GCs, suppliers, end users).
  • Maintain clear documentation and communication using MS Office, Procore, and Teams.
THE REQUIREMENTS
  • Electrical Trade Ticket or Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical project management and/or estimating.
  • Hands-on experience estimating projects and/or change orders.
  • Comfortable with contract review and commercial terms.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication.
COMPENSATION
  • $85,000 - $120,000 depending on experience
  • Annual discretionary bonuses.
  • Benefits include full health and dental coverage, 3 weeks vacation (4 weeks after 2 years), 6% RRSP match and wellness spending account
  • Flexible schedules; potential for up to 2 WFH days after 3-6 months probation.
