Aplin has partnered with an established Canadian organization in the transportation and logistics industry to recruit a Manager, Sales Operations & Revenue Optimization. This position will play a key role in driving profitable revenue growth through yield optimization, commercial analytics, forecasting and sales performance reporting.
Reporting to a senior leader, the successful candidate will lead a small team and work closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, Customer Experience and Technology to turn complex data into actionable insights that improve margins, accelerate growth and strengthen commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
The anticipated base salary is $105,000–$115,000, depending on experience, plus a target annual incentive of 17%. The organization also offers comprehensive benefits, retirement savings support and an employee share program.
This position is based at the organization's Greater Toronto Area head office and requires regular on-site attendance. A hybrid arrangement is currently in place, although office attendance requirements may change.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead revenue and margin optimization initiatives, analyzing pricing effectiveness, customer profitability, revenue trends and sales performance.
- Oversee commercial planning, forecasting, executive reporting, dashboards, scorecards and business performance reviews.
- Establish consistent KPI definitions, reporting standards and data governance practices.
- Analyze customer segments, whitespace opportunities and share of wallet to identify cross-selling, retention and growth potential.
- Translate commercial intelligence into actionable recommendations for sales leaders and frontline teams.
- Collaborate on sales enablement playbooks, tools and processes that improve sales productivity and execution.
- Lead and develop a small analytics team while partnering with technical resources on reporting improvements.
- Leverage AI, automation and business intelligence tools to improve efficiency and commercial decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field.
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Management or a related function.
- 3–5+ years of people leadership experience.
- Strong financial acumen, including revenue forecasting, margin analysis and commercial modelling.
- Experience developing executive reporting, dashboards, scorecards and business performance reviews.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong working knowledge of Salesforce and Power BI.
- Experience with customer segmentation, whitespace analysis and identifying revenue growth opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, distribution or another complex B2B environment would be an asset.
