Responsibilities
  • Review insurance and risk management documentation before and after closing for project transactions in various industries such as commercial real estate, construction, infrastructure, etc. 
  • Assess coverage to identify potential gaps, limitations, exclusions, and areas of exposure
  • Ensure insurance programs meet lender requirements and applicable regulatory standards
  • Work closely with lenders, brokers, legal teams, and clients to address coverage concerns and provide practical recommendations
  • Monitor insurance certificates, renewals, and relevant regulatory developments
  • Advise clients on market conditions, regulatory changes, and effective risk management practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support transaction documentation and maintain an efficient workflow
  • Stay current on industry developments, pricing trends, and emerging risks to provide informed, forward-looking guidance
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial insurance, preferably within a brokerage or insurance provider
  • Strong understanding of insurance policies for complex, large-scale accounts across major industries including infrastructure, energy, construction, real estate, and more
  • Strong understanding of financing transactions
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field
  • Experience with AI tools and some coding knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a detail-oriented focus and a collaborative mindset
