Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive and precise electrical and instrumentation estimates for major industrial projects, covering equipment, cabling, heat tracing, and systems.
  • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope, identify opportunities, and pinpoint risks.
  • Formulate winning estimating strategies, create budgets, and support bid submissions with compelling, competitive proposals.
  • Contribute to project planning, schedule development, and risk assessment, ensuring financial viability and efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships through clear communication and collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
Qualifications
  • 1-5 years of construction-related estimating experience, strong in heavy industrial environments like energy, mining, or petrochemical sectors.
  • Exceptional skills in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office; experience with tools like Primavera or BIM is advantageous.
  • Post-secondary diploma in construction management, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with industrial project cost estimation, resource planning, and risk management.
