This Isn’t a Role Where You’ll Stay in Your Lane
You’ll certainly be responsible for accounting and financial reporting, but the opportunity is much broader than that.

Working closely with the CFO and ownership group, you’ll gain exposure to how the entire business operates. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, identify better ways of doing things, improve processes, explore technology and automation, and gradually take on broader responsibility across the organization.

For someone coming from public practice, this could be an excellent opportunity to take everything you’ve learned working with clients and apply it inside one business—where you can actually see the impact of your ideas over time.
And if you’re already in industry, it could be the opportunity to finally have the visibility, autonomy and access to leadership you’ve been looking for.

What You’ll Get Exposure To
You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of and continue developing across:

• Full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
• Month-end and year-end processes
• Banking, treasury, cash flow and lender reporting
• Payroll, benefits and regulatory compliance
• Process and workflow improvement
• Operational and administrative business initiatives
• Technology, automation and AI
• Business planning and future growth initiatives alongside the CFO and ownership team

And here’s the important part: you don’t need to have done every one of these things already. We’re much more interested in finding someone with a strong accounting foundation, good judgment, curiosity, initiative and the ability to learn than someone who can simply check every box on a job description.

Who Could Be Great Here?
You’re probably someone who genuinely likes business—not just accounting.

You want to understand why the numbers look the way they do. You ask good questions. You enjoy solving problems. If you see an inefficient process, your instinct is to figure out how it could work better.
You’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves, but you’re also ambitious enough to want your career to become broader over time. You may bring:

• A CPA designation, or be well on your way toward completing it
• A strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting
• Experience gained in public practice or industry
• The confidence to communicate with people outside of finance
• An interest in systems, technology, automation and AI
• Leadership potential—even if you haven’t formally managed a large team yet
• A practical, collaborative and down-to-earth approach
• Most importantly, the drive to learn, contribute and make an impact

The successful candidate doesn't need to arrive knowing everything. What matters is that you have the accounting foundation, communication skills, curiosity and leadership potential to continue growing into the opportunity.
