Aplin has partnered with an established Canadian manufacturer and distributor of exterior building products to recruit a Branch Manager – Sales & Distribution Operations for its successful Regina operation.

This is an opportunity for a commercially driven leader to take ownership of an established B2B distribution branch, lead an experienced team and directly influence sales growth and market development.

The Opportunity

The Branch Manager will have overall responsibility for the sales, people and operations of the Regina branch.

While operational leadership is part of the mandate, this is primarily a sales and commercial leadership role. We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the market, developing relationships, pursuing new business and identifying opportunities for profitable growth.

You will lead an experienced team across outside sales, inside sales, warehouse and distribution functions while serving as a visible representative of the business within the Regina market.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive profitable sales growth and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and deepen relationships with contractors, builders, dealers and other B2B customers.
  • Grow existing accounts while actively pursuing new customers and market share.
  • Lead, coach and develop the branch sales and operations team.
  • Use sales data, market intelligence and branch metrics to establish priorities and make informed business decisions.
  • Maintain strong pricing and margin discipline.
  • Oversee inventory, warehouse, workflow, labour and distribution activities.
  • Ensure customers consistently receive a high level of service.
  • Build credibility and strong working relationships with an experienced branch team.
  • Maintain a strong culture of accountability, collaboration and workplace safety.
What We’re Looking For

You are a commercially minded leader who knows how to develop business, build customer relationships and get the best from people.

You may already be managing a branch or sales operation, or you could be a successful sales professional who has demonstrated leadership ability and is ready to take on broader responsibility.

Ideally, you bring:
  • Proven B2B sales and business development experience.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in building products, construction materials, wholesale distribution or a related B2B environment.
  • A track record of developing new customers and growing existing accounts.
  • Strong commercial judgment with an understanding of pricing, margins and profitable growth.
  • The ability to use sales and operational metrics to drive performance.
  • A hands-on, accountable and results-oriented approach.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience with windows, siding, aluminum, exterior building products or related construction products would be particularly valuable.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

The Regina branch is an established operation with an experienced team and a strong position in the Saskatchewan market. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the business locally and have a direct impact on its continued growth.

The organization offers a competitive base salary, performance-based annual incentive, comprehensive company-paid benefits, company-matched savings plan, company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone, and a Monday-to-Friday work schedule.

Relocation assistance may also be considered for an exceptional candidate.

Interested candidates are invited to apply through Aplin. All inquiries and applications will be treated confidentially.
