Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 base salary + annual bonus
- Please note, this role is fully remote (must be based in Alberta or Ontario) and operates on Central Time hours (8 AM – 5 PM CT)

- Own pricing analysis across key performance metrics, including total billings, average order value, price per unit, margin, and contribution margin
- Partner closely with the Product team to optimize margins through strategic pricing increases and decreases
- Proactively identify pricing opportunities and risks by analyzing customer behavior, product performance, market dynamics, and competitive trends
- Develop and maintain pricing models to evaluate pricing trends, elasticity, profitability, and margin impact
- Develop hypotheses, conduct analysis, and independently bring forward actionable pricing recommendations
- Analyze the effectiveness of promotions, pricing campaigns, discounting strategies, and bundling initiatives
- Support the development, testing, and refinement of pricing strategies and business experiments
- Use SQL to independently identify, extract, and analyze data from large, complex, and disparate datasets
- Build and maintain pricing dashboards using Excel and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business and senior stakeholders
- Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to influence pricing decisions and align strategies with business objectives
- Support pricing decisions for new product launches, including economic value estimation and pricing frameworks
- Collaborate with Technology and Analytics teams to improve pricing data infrastructure, automation, and analytical processes
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency across pricing data, models, dashboards, and reporting
- Challenge existing assumptions and clearly communicate pricing trade-offs and recommendations
- Proactively identify opportunities and solve ambiguous business problems without waiting for direction
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, product analytics, revenue analytics, pricing analytics, or a related analytical role
- Strong combination of pricing knowledge, business acumen, and technical data analytics skills
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to independently find, extract, and analyze data from complex and disparate sources
- Advanced Excel skills with experience building analytical models
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms
- Understanding of pricing concepts such as price elasticity, contribution margin, discounting, bundling, and revenue optimization
- Demonstrated ability to connect analytical findings to customer behavior, revenue, profitability, and business performance
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop hypotheses and determine the appropriate approach to unfamiliar problems
- Comfortable working with messy or imperfect data and finding creative ways to extract meaningful insights
- Highly proactive, curious, and self-directed, with a strong desire to investigate problems and identify opportunities independently
- Strong communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and communicate recommendations
- Experience applying analytics to pricing, revenue optimization, profitability, promotions, product performance, or customer behavior is strongly preferred
- Experience designing or evaluating business experiments is an asset
- Previous eCommerce experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and take ownership of ambiguous problems from analysis through to recommendation
