Our client, a global leader in the industrial gases and chemicals industry, is seeking a Completions Manager / Completions Technician to support Completions processes and Smart Completions activities across all phases of the project, from Construction Turnover through to Operations Handover. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a large-scale project environment with evolving responsibilities across key project lifecycle stages.
Responsibilities
This role will evolve across two key phases of the project:
Phase 1 (Next 6–12 Months)

Responsibilities
This role will evolve across two key phases of the project:
Phase 1 (Next 6–12 Months)
- Maintain and manage preservation records within SmartCompletions
- Update system data based on Material Receiving Reports (MRRs), preservation matrix updates, and contractor technical queries
- Participate in meetings with preservation contractors and construction teams
- Support CSU monthly audits by reviewing uploaded checksheets
- Liaise with engineering teams to support preservation activities
- Provide full support to the Completions team
- Support Inspection Test Records (ITRs) and punch list management:
- Maintain and update master punch lists
- Assign ITRs and manage documentation uploads
- Perform Smart Completions data entry, including asset and preservation data
- Issue procedures and documentation through document control systems (e.g., OpenText)
- Support system handover, ensuring readiness for commissioning and energization
- Assist with project reporting and progress tracking
- Manage documentation and support audit activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project, Engineering, Construction, Quality, CSU, and Operations
- Adhere to site-specific safety standards, policies, and procedures
- Participate in safety meetings and initiatives
- Ensure incidents are reported, investigated, and corrective actions are implemented
- 5–10 years of experience in completions and/or document management on major projects
- Experience with Hexagon SmartCompletions preferred
- Strong understanding of turnover and system handover processes
- Familiarity with Inspection & Test Records (ITRs) and acceptance requirements
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, including P&IDs and SLDs
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on organization and accuracy
- Proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools
- Ability to manage priorities, timelines, and deadlines effectively
- Primarily desk-based role with frequent computer use
- Regular document review and analysis
- Minimal travel and no regular on-call requirements
- Work on a complex, large-scale project with evolving responsibilities
