Trade Spend and Accounting Analyst

We are partnering with a well-established Saskatchewan-based consumer products company that is experiencing significant growth across Canada and the United States. As the organization continues to scale, they are seeking a Trade Spend & Accounting Analyst to join their Finance team in a highly visible role that works closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Leadership.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing the customer-to-cash cycle, including invoicing, collections, customer account management, and dispute resolution
• Supporting month-end close through journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting
• Analyzing trade spend, deductions, chargebacks, and promotional investments to help improve profitability
• Monitoring and reporting on key financial and operational metrics
• Partnering with Sales and Operations to provide insights and support decision-making
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, inventory-related processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting external review and audit requirements

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of accounting, trade spend, accounts receivable, or financial analysis experience
• Experience within CPG, food manufacturing, retail supplier, distribution, or manufacturing environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
• Experience with trade spend, deductions, rebates, chargebacks, or promotional accounting would be considered a strong asset
• Postsecondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• CPA designation or progress toward a designation is an asset, but not required
