Our client is a well-established and financially strong real estate organization with a diverse portfolio of commercial properties throughout Winnipeg. They are seeking a Manager, Commercial Properties to oversee the day-to-day operations, leasing support, tenant relations, and financial performance of a portfolio of commercial assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of a portfolio of commercial properties.
  • Build and maintain strong tenant relationships while addressing operational needs and service requests.
  • Support commercial leasing activities, including renewals, amendments, tenant inquiries, and broker relationships.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to a small team, ensuring operational objectives and service standards are consistently achieved.
  • Coordinate contractors, maintenance activities, and capital improvement projects.
  • Assist with budgeting, operating cost recoveries, collections, and financial oversight.
  • Support redevelopment, acquisition, and development initiatives as required.
  • Ensure compliance with lease obligations, municipal regulations, health and safety requirements, and company standards.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of commercial property management or commercial real estate experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial leasing, property operations, and tenant relations.
  • Experience with budgeting, operating expenses, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing mixed-use commercial properties is required.
  • Proficiency with Yardi or similar property management software is considered an asset.
  • RPA, CPM, or CCIM designation would be an asset.
