Notre client est une firme spécialisée en gestion des risques, offrant des services externalisés d’assurance et de gestion des risques aux institutions de prêt canadiennes ainsi qu’aux principales sociétés de développement en Amérique du Nord. Avec l’expansion de sa clientèle, l’entreprise est à la recherche d’un(e) consultant(e) en assurance bilingue (anglais/français) expérimenté(e) afin d’agir comme conseiller(ère) de confiance — en évaluant, en analysant et en structurant des programmes d’assurance pour des clients issus des secteurs du financement commercial et du développement immobilier.

Our client is a risk management firm providing outsourced insurance and risk management services to Canadian lending institutions and North America's leading development companies. As their client base grows, they're looking for a seasoned Bilingual (EN/FR) Insurance Consultant to serve as a trusted advisor — reviewing, critiquing, and structuring insurance programs on behalf of clients across commercial lending and real estate development.

Rémunération

- Examiner et évaluer les programmes d’assurance existants des clients, identifier les lacunes ou expositions et présenter clairement les conclusions à la direction et aux clients
- Accompagner les clients dans leurs demandes d’assurance ainsi que dans l’élaboration de soumissions de souscription pour des propriétés commerciales, des prêts et des projets de développement
- Réviser et négocier des contrats au nom des clients, incluant baux, contrats de construction et autres ententes importantes
- Analyser le coût total du risque des clients à l’aide de tableaux et d’outils de suivi illustrant les tendances historiques et les constats
- Agir comme principal point de contact quotidien pour les clients et soutenir leurs stratégies de gestion des risques
- Conseiller les clients sur les enjeux liés aux réclamations ainsi que sur les meilleures pratiques en gestion des sinistres
- Assurer la liaison entre les clients, les courtiers d’assurance, les prêteurs et les équipes internes au besoin
- Gérer des projets attribués au cas par cas, tant pour des comptes commerciaux que personnels
- Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en assurance commerciale (courtier, souscripteur, marketing ou gestion des risques considérés)
- Bilinguisme français/anglais obligatoire
- Bonne connaissance des lignes commerciales; une expérience en caution et garanties constitue un atout important
- Excellentes capacités d’analyse des risques, de lecture de contrats complexes et de communication avec des parties prenantes non techniques
- Désignation RIBO ou autre permis provincial; la certification CRM est un atout
- À l’aise en télétravail et dans la gestion autonome de relations clients sans supervision rapprochée

Compensation
- $70,000 to $100,000 + commission
- Performance based commission bonus tied to company results

- Review and critique existing client insurance programs, identify gaps or exposures, and present findings clearly to senior management and clients
- Assist clients with insurance applications and the development of underwriting submissions for commercial properties, loans, and development projects
- Review and negotiate contracts on behalf of clients, including leases, construction contracts, and other material agreements
- Analyze clients' Total Cost of Risk by building spreadsheets and tracking tools that illustrate historical cost trends and findings
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, supporting their ongoing risk management processes and strategy
- Advise clients on claims-related issues and claims management best practices
- Liaise between clients, insurance brokers, lenders, and internal management as needed
- Manage assigned projects on a case-by-case basis across both commercial and personal lines accounts
- 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance (broker, underwriter, marketer, or risk management backgrounds all considered)
- Bilingual fluency in French and English Required
- Broad familiarity with general commercial lines; exposure to surety and bonding is a strong asset
- Demonstrated ability to analyze risk, review complex contracts, and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
- RIBO or other provincial licensing, CRM designation would be nice to have
- Comfortable working remotely and managing client relationships without close supervision
