Our client, a boutique employee-owned investment management firm, is seeking a highly organized and client-focused Portfolio Administrator to support their Private Client team in Downtown Calgary, AB. This role is ideal for someone with experience in wealth management or investment administration who thrives in a collaborative, high-touch client service environment.

You will support Portfolio Managers and Associates with client service, account administration, reporting, and day-to-day office operations.

Compensation
  • $65,000 – $70,000 base salary

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a professional and high-touch client experience via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Support Portfolio Managers and Associates with day-to-day client servicing
  • Manage investment account administration, including:
    • Account opening
    • Transfers
    • Cash movements
    • Account closures
  • Prepare:
    • Client presentations
    • Portfolio review materials
    • Reports and tax packages
  • Maintain accurate client records within the CRM system
  • Coordinate client meetings and supporting documentation
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Provide reception and office administrative support as needed
  • Assist with client events and ad hoc operational initiatives

Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of experience in wealth management, investment administration, or financial services
  • Experience with:
    • Investment account administration
    • Client servicing
    • Report preparation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Salesforce and/or Bloomberg experience considered an asset
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
