About The Opportunity
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an organized, detail-focused role within a professional legal setting. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting Lawyers, Law Clerks, Paraprofessionals, and Legal Assistants through accurate file management and efficient administrative support.

This opportunity provides exposure to a wide range of legal administrative functions, including document management systems, billing support, and client onboarding processes. About The Position
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and file management support to legal professionals and support staff. Working under the supervision of a Team Leader while also operating independently, the role ensures that all client files and administrative processes are accurately maintained and efficiently managed.

Key responsibilities include managing electronic and physical files, supporting document scanning and filing through systems such as iManage, assisting with billing preparation, and ensuring compliance with file management procedures. The role also involves handling file requests, supporting conflict checks and Know Your Client procedures, and maintaining accurate records in client management systems.

The Requirements
  • Legal Administrative Assistant certificate from an accredited program
  • 1–2 years of office experience, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with iManage or similar document management systems (asset)
  • Familiarity with Client Management Systems or CRM tools (asset)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver high-quality client service
Compensation
  • Salary: $50,000-60,000
