Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking an experienced Project Manager for an immediate long-term onsite opportunity onsite in Winnipeg This role will lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives within a complex healthcare environment, working closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to deliver critical technology modernization projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex healthcare information technology projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization
  • Coordinate internal delivery teams, vendor partners, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and communications
  • Support large-scale digital transformation initiatives involving cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise application implementation
  • Oversee application and infrastructure implementations across private, public, and hybrid-cloud environments
  • Collaborate with operational and clinical stakeholders to ensure alignment with business and healthcare objectives
  • Lead organizational change management activities and support user adoption strategies
  • Provide regular project reporting, status updates, and executive-level communications
  • Support telephony modernization and rollout initiatives
Qualifications
  • Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification
  • Valid PROSCI (ADKAR) Organizational Change Management certification
  • ITIL Foundation or Practitioner certification considered an asset
  • 12+ years of experience managing information technology projects in a healthcare environment
  • 8+ years of experience coordinating internal delivery staff, vendor partners, and customer stakeholders on large-scale digital transformation initiatives within healthcare
  • 8+ years of experience implementing or migrating applications and infrastructure within a large acute care or large public sector environment
  • Experience working with private, public, and hybrid-cloud architecture including converged/hyperconverged infrastructure
  • Experience with SaaS, PaaS, and hyperscale cloud models including Microsoft Azure and AWS
  • 4+ years of experience implementing the Altera Sunrise suite of products in an acute care setting
  • 1+ year of experience leading telephony modernization and rollout projects
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Criminal background check is required
