ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-time, permanent Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist position based in the Maple Ridge / Langley area.
The role is focused on high-volume invoicing and receivables within a multi-entity environment, supporting several business units. You will play a key role in managing billing processes, tracking payments, and ensuring accurate financial records, while also gaining exposure to month-end accounting tasks.
This position is best suited to someone who enjoys a structured, hands-on role and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, operational environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-time, permanent Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist position based in the Maple Ridge / Langley area.

You will play a key role in managing billing processes, tracking payments, and ensuring accurate financial records, while also gaining exposure to month-end accounting tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly invoicing across multiple divisions
- Create and process sales orders, invoices, and credit notes within the ERP system
- Distribute invoices and account statements to customers
- Monitor and manage AR inbox, responding to billing and payment inquiries
- Process incoming payments (credit cards, EFTs, cheques) and ensure accurate recording
- Perform soft collections, including follow-ups on outstanding balances
- Reconcile employee timesheets against billable work and support payroll data entry
- Assist with billing reallocations across business units
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Maintain intercompany accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Provide support to internal stakeholders and assist with ad hoc accounting tasks
- Assist with general administrative duties as required
- 1–3+ years of experience in an Accounts Receivable or billing-focused role
- Strong understanding of invoicing and collections processes
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One or similar is an asset)
- High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working independently in a structured environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Competitive salary based on experience (~$52,000 – $60,000+, with flexibility for the right candidate)
