Project Manager

Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking an experienced Project Manager for an immediate-term remote opportunity. This role will lead complex, high-impact healthcare transformation initiatives, including system redesign, EMR implementation, and service delivery improvements. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and change management experience within healthcare environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex healthcare transformation initiatives
• Manage project budgets, risks, issues, and reporting to stakeholders and leadership
• Drive change management activities, ensuring successful adoption of new processes and systems
• Collaborate closely with clinical stakeholders and operational leaders
• Lead healthcare system analysis and redesign initiatives, including surgical workflows, intake processes, and governance models
• Oversee implementation and optimization of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and electronic ordering systems
• Support implementation of electronic lab and medical results reporting solutions
• Ensure alignment with organizational strategy and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Prosci Change Management Certification

Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in project management, including developing project plans, managing budgets, and leading multi-functional teams
• 10+ years managing changes to healthcare services, including creating project plans and liaising with clinical stakeholders
• 4+ years leading teams in healthcare system analysis and redesign, including surgical process flows, intake, and governance
• 3+ years implementing, upgrading, or operating Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and electronic ordering functionality
• 5+ years implementing large transformational projects, including organizational and service redesign initiatives
• 1+ year implementing, upgrading, or operating electronic lab or medical results reporting solutions in a healthcare environment
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Expertise in healthcare transformation and system redesign
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Criminal background check is required
