Aplin has partnered with a global company to help find a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will resolve customer inquiries, offer technical guidance, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations. Your expertise will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer experiences and contributing to the success of our technical support team.
This role operates on Pacific or Mountain Time core working hours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver efficient and effective technical support to customers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to company products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems promptly.
- Guide customers in configuring systems and implementing best practices for optimal performance.
- Document and track customer issues, resolutions, and best practices to enhance the knowledge base.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in data backups and security.
- Proven experience in technical support, preferably within data backup or storage solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Veeam data backup products.
- Experience with the Veeam ecosystem, including VMware ESX(i)/vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V/Failover clusters, and public clouds.
- Advanced user or administrative-level experience with Ubuntu Linux and Windows Server.
- Solid understanding of server hardware and configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with industry-standard certifications (e.g., Veeam) is advantageous.
