Our client is seeking a hands-on Distribution Centre Lead to oversee their warehouse and dispatch operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient, safe, and accurate handling of inventory, order fulfillment, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities – Warehouse & Operations:
  • Supervises daily warehouse activities, including picking, packing, dispatch, and receiving.
  • Manages inventory control (inbound/outbound) and maintains high levels of accuracy.
  • Oversees the loading and unloading of trucks and container shipments.
  • Ensures all goods are inspected and meet quality standards.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities – Logistics & Distribution:
  • Coordinates outbound shipments to meet customer delivery schedules.
  • Plans and books freight, monitors carrier performance, and resolves issues.
  • Manages inbound international shipments and liaises with customs brokers.
  • Reconciles freight invoices and controls transport costs.
  • Supports export shipments to international customers.
Key Responsibilities – Planning & Inventory Management:
  • Monitors stock levels and supports inventory planning and replenishment.
  • Tracks inventory accuracy and investigates discrepancies.
  • Manages returned goods and ensures correct processing.
Skills & Experience – Required:
  • Proven experience in warehouse or distribution as a lead.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, freight, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Forklift license preferred or willing to train for
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license.
