Aplin is proud to partner with our long-term client to hire a Senior Conveyancer to join their established real estate team in Edmonton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing files from start to finish.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling approximately 30 residential conveyancing files per month, working closely with lawyers, other conveyancers, and clients to ensure smooth and timely transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage residential real estate files from opening to closing
  • Prepare and review purchase, sale, mortgage, and refinance documentation
  • Conduct title, tax, and due diligence searches
  • Liaise with clients, lenders, realtors, and third parties
  • Coordinate signing appointments and closing logistics
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with Alberta real estate procedures
  • Work with a conveyancer and junior conveyancer, with the junior handling reporting, file organization, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of residential conveyancing experience
  • Strong understanding of Alberta real estate processes and documentation
  • Ability to manage a high volume of files with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with real estate software is an asset
