Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are currently seeking a Temporary Receptionist for our client in Winnipeg, starting as soon as possible. This role is ideal for a reliable, adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable supporting a variety of administrative and client-facing tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a 2-line phone system, including answering and transferring calls
  • Assist clients with applications over the phone
  • Monitor and respond to emails
  • Perform daily calls to confirm orders and deliveries that are time sensitive 
  • Provide administrative support to staff as needed
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Assist with deliveries on an as-needed basis  
Qualifications
  • 2 plus years of Reception / Administration experience in an office setting
  • Strong communication and telephone etiquette
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment
  • Able to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism
  • Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative
  • Able to multitask, follow direction and meet time-sensitive deadlines 
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle required
  • Experience in the non-profit sector is an asset
