About The Opportunity
This is a full-time, permanent Civil Estimator position offering the chance to lead high-impact civil construction projects throughout the region. You’ll lead a dedicated crew on key infrastructure projects involving deep utilities, roadworks, and large-scale earthworks across the region. You’ll play a central role in timely, and high-quality project delivery.

This opportunity is available to candidates based in Langley, Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, New Westminster, Abbotsford, Delta, Richmond and Coquitlam.

About The Position
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects, including earthworks, utilities, and infrastructure.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs for materials, labour, and equipment.
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
  • Develop detailed bid packages and proposals within tight deadlines.
  • Analyze project risks, site conditions, and constructability factors.
  • Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to validate estimates.
  • Maintain and update cost databases, unit rates, and historical data.
  • Participate in bid reviews, value engineering, and scope clarifications.
  • Support project handover by providing estimate details to the project team.
The Requirements
  • 7-10 years’ of Civil Estimating experience.
  • Proficient in software such as HeavyBid, Planswift and Bluebeam.
  • Strong experience in Subdivisions and Underground Utilities.
  • Ability to run full cycle Estimating independently.
Compensation
  • Salary: $120,000 - $150,000
