Aplin is partnering with a well-established and growing organization in the mining sector to recruit a Document Controller for a site-based role in Northern Saskatchewan. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a structured, fast-paced project environment and is looking to gain exposure to a large-scale mining operation.

This position will operate on a site rotation schedule, to be determined in collaboration with the successful candidate.

Location: Northern Saskatchewan (Remote Site)
Term: 6-Month Contract (Strong Potential for Extension or Permanent Hire)

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain project documentation in accordance with company standards and procedures
  • Ensure accurate version control, document tracking, and filing within document management systems
  • Coordinate the flow of technical documents between internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
  • Support engineering and project teams with document control processes and compliance requirements
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting of documentation
  • Maintain document registers, logs, and reporting tools
  • Assist with audits and ensure documentation aligns with regulatory and project requirements
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in document control, preferably within mining, construction, or engineering environments
  • Experience working with document management systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience working in a site-based or remote environment is considered an asset
