This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading global athletic leisure brand in their inhouse legal team. This is a contract role anticipated to be at least 12 months with the potential for extension.
Our client are looking for a seasoned Legal Counsel to drive employment compliance initiatives across multiple jurisdictions, supporting a multi-year mission to modernize time, pay, scheduling, leave, and entitlement processes worldwide.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Deep expertise in employment law, especially wage and hour, scheduling legislation, and leave frameworks.
- Strong legal interpretation skills with the ability to translate complex regulations into clear operational policies.
- Excellent communication abilities to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams and external counsel.
- Proven success in supporting multi-jurisdictional organizations, with a minimum of 5–8+ years of relevant experience.
- A law degree and active bar membership in at least one jurisdiction.
- Experience working with enterprise-wide HR technology systems.
- Familiarity with global HR transformation projects.
- Multilingual abilities or experience working across diverse cultural and legal landscapes.
- Previous engagement with change management strategies.
- Law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) and bar membership.
- 5 to 8+ years supporting employment compliance in international settings.
- Demonstrated success in navigating employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
