Systems Analyst

Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst for an immediate remote long term contract. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, and clinical partners to gather requirements, develop integration strategies, and support testing and implementation activities. This role requires strong experience in systems analysis, data and integration architecture, and healthcare technology implementations.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document functional and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
  
  
• Analyze business and technical needs and translate them into solution specifications and technical approaches.
  
  
• Develop integration and data strategies, including architecture and infrastructure requirements.
  
  
• Support data conversion and data migration activities for system implementations.
  
  
• Test system integrations and interfaces, including integration of primary care Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) with other healthcare systems, and provide feedback to interface development teams.
  
  
• Develop test strategies and test plans to support implementations and upgrades.
  
  
• Coordinate testing activities and resources to ensure effective system validation.
  
  
• Support implementation of pharmacy information systems in clinical environments.
  
  
• Assist with implementation of healthcare portal solutions supporting primary care clinics and client enrollment.
  
  
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and stakeholder presentations.
• Ensure solutions comply with organizational standards, security requirements, and healthcare regulations

Qualifications

• Degree majoring in computer science, software development, business computing, or management information systems.  
• 10 years of experience working as a Systems Analyst to collect and understand functional and nonfunctional requirements from multiple stakeholders through interviews and workshops, and documenting and presenting these as specifications and technical approaches/
• 5 years of experience architecting integration and data strategies for information systems.   
• 5 years of experience testing integration between systems and providing feedback and requirements to an interface development team.  Experience with integration of primary care Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) with other healthcare systems is required.
• 5 years of experience in a test manager or test lead role.
• 4 years of experience implementing pharmacy information systems in a clinical setting.
• 2 years of experience involved in the implementation of healthcare portal solutions designed to support primary care clinics and client enrollment.
• Criminal record check is required
