A well established residential builder in Saskatoon is seeking a Residential Site Supervisor to oversee projects including custom homes, major renovations, and specialty millwork across Saskatchewan.

About the Role
As the Residential Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing daily site activities and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality. You will coordinate trades, monitor project progress, and maintain clear communication with both the internal team and homeowners throughout the build process.
This role suits someone who is organized, proactive, and takes pride in bringing exceptional residential projects to completion.
 
Key Responsibilities
Construction & Site Management
  • Oversee all on site construction activities from project start through completion.
  • Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Quality Assurance
  • Monitor workmanship to ensure high standards of quality across all phases of construction.
  • Conduct routine site inspections and quickly address any deficiencies.
  • Work closely with trades and suppliers to ensure materials and finishes meet project expectations.
Scheduling & Trade Coordination
  • Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and material requirements.
  • Identify potential delays and implement solutions to keep projects moving forward.
Project Documentation & Communication
  • Utilize digital construction management tools such as CoConstruct to track project activity.
  • Maintain daily logs, site reports, and progress updates.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to project managers and clients.
  • Serve as the primary on site point of contact for trades, suppliers, and homeowners.
Health & Safety
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Promote a safe and respectful job site culture.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Journeyperson Carpenter certification required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supervising residential construction projects, ideally custom homes or high end renovations.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction processes, sequencing, and materials.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills when working with trades and clients.
  • Comfortable using project management software and digital reporting tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Knowledge of provincial building codes and site safety requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physically capable of performing on site duties including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in outdoor conditions.
