A well-established engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join its growing team in Fort St. John and support infrastructure development across the BC Peace Region. This is an opportunity to work on impactful municipal projects while advancing into project management and leadership.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $92,000 – $137,000 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver municipal infrastructure design projects
  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Oversee projects from concept through construction
  • Coordinate approvals, tender documents, and contract administration
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff
  • Support client relationships and regional growth initiatives
Qualifications
  • P.Eng. (registered in BC or eligible)
  • Minimum 6+ years of civil engineering experience
  • Strong municipal design background required
    • Sewer systems
    • Storm drainage
    • Water distribution systems
    • Roadworks & General municipal infrastructure projfext
  • Proficient in Civil 3D
  • Experience in project management, budgeting, scheduling, and client communication
  • Independent, proactive, and interested in leadership and business development
  • Open to relocation to Fort St. John, BC
