The firm is seeking an Accounting Manager or Senior Manager with at least 5 years’ experience in public practice. This is a hands-on role with meaningful client interaction, file review responsibility, and staff mentorship.

The Opportunity
The firm is seeking an Accounting Manager or Senior Manager with at least 5 years’ experience in public practice. This is a hands-on role with meaningful client interaction, file review responsibility, and staff mentorship.
The firm’s work is focused on:
- Compilation engagements
- Corporate tax for small and owner-managed businesses
- Personal tax returns
- 9 total staff, including 2 Partners
- Collaborative, respectful culture with a genuine commitment to work/life balance
- Stable firm with long-tenured employees
- 30% – Working with new clients and onboarding engagements
- 40% – Reviewing files and meeting directly with clients
- 30% – Mentoring staff and hands-on file preparation, including tax work
- CPA designation
- 5+ years’ experience in public practice (10+ years is ideal)
- Desire and aptitude to become a partner in the short to medium term
- Interest in compilations, small business tax, and personal tax
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients
- A desire to build a long-term career in public accounting
- Enjoys mentoring and working collaboratively in an office setting
- Note: candidates with fewer years of experience but with the right aptitude and attitude will also be considered.
