Accounting Manager (Banff)

Aplin has partnered with a public practice firm in Banff to hire an Accounting Manager. This is an opportunity to step into meaningful responsibility, build long-term client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of a respected local firm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review personal, corporate, and trust tax returns
• Prepare and review compilation engagements
• Participate in the preparation of audit and review engagements (prior experience required)
• Develop and maintain strong, in-person client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
• Collaborate directly with the Owners/Partners and take ownership of key client files
• Contribute to the firm’s long-term succession strategy, with potential progression toward partnership
  
  

Qualifications

• CPA designation in good standing
• Demonstrated tax and public practice accounting experience across multiple engagement types
• Experience supporting or leading audit and review engagements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-service mindset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment
