About the Opportunity This role sits within the firm’s national Intake & Conflicts team and plays a key part in the matter life cycle process. You’ll be responsible for conducting conflict searches, reviewing new client and matter intake requests, and ensuring compliance with firm protocols.
This is a detail-driven role in a fast-paced environment, working closely with lawyers and internal stakeholders across multiple offices.

Responsibilities
- Conduct conflict searches and analyze results
- Provide potential match information to legal professionals
- Review client and matter intake requests for compliance
- Set up and maintain confidentiality screens
- Complete due diligence and Know Your Client (KYC) checks
- Assist with lateral hire onboarding conflict processes
- Maintain ongoing client/matter updates
- Monitor central intake mailbox and respond to inquiries
- Participate in on-call rotation (approximately one week every two months)
- 3+ years of experience in a legal environment
- Prior conflicts and/or intake experience in a law firm strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of conflict of interest principles
- Experience reviewing and interpreting database search results
- High attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a time-sensitive setting
- Strong communication skills and professional judgment
- Exposure to KYC/due diligence processes
- Bilingual (English/French)
