We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of shipbuilding, repair, and refit projects. In this role, you will manage all aspects of assigned projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will oversee day-to-day project activities, maintain thorough documentation, and coordinate with technical teams to align engineering intent with project outcomes.

Projects may involve technical complexity in the marine domain, and you will have support from technical leads and oversight to navigate engineering requirements. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing technical projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full lifecycle of assigned projects, including estimating, planning, execution, control, and closeout

  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and escalate issues as needed

  • Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation

  • Ensure project tasks are properly resourced and supported

  • Adapt to changes in scope, schedule, or budget with proactive planning

  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate engineering requirements into actionable plans

  • Utilize project management tools and systems to track progress and performance
Qualifications

Education
  • Technical diploma or degree in engineering or engineering technology, preferably in Naval Architecture or Marine Systems Engineering

  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years of experience managing shipbuilding, repair, or refit projects

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams and manage complex projects
