Join a reputable Vancouver-based General Contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial Tenant Improvement and light industrial projects. They are seeking an experienced Working Foreman to oversee multiple projects across the Lower Mainland.

This is a non-union role offering strong earning potential, autonomy, growth and long-term stability.

About Our Client
Our client is a specialized general contractor delivering fast-paced commercial TI and light industrial projects across Metro Vancouver. With deep expertise in office, retail and institutional projects. They are known for delivering projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a dependable site leader who can operate as the key liaison between the Project Manager and on-site trades.

About The Opportunity
This is a leadership-focused, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys being both in the field and coordinating operations.

You will oversee multiple active sites simultaneously, ensuring quality control, productivity, scheduling alignment, and strong communication between trades and the Project Manager.

Projects are located throughout the Lower Mainland and surrounding areas.

About The Position
  • Act as the primary on-site liaison between the Project Manager and field crews

  • Oversee multiple TI and interior projects simultaneously

  • Lead and coordinate steel stud framing and interior systems installation

  • Interpret drawings and ensure accurate layout and execution

  • Schedule manpower and manage daily site activities across projects

  • Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain workflow and avoid delays

  • Monitor productivity, quality control, and adherence to timelines

  • Identify and resolve site issues proactively

  • Ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and available when required

  • Enforce company safety standards and maintain organized job sites

  • Provide daily progress updates to the Project Manager

  • Mentor apprentices and junior crew members
The Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction, with strong steel stud framing background

  • Experience in a Foreman or Lead Hand role

  • Experience overseeing multiple job sites simultaneously

  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings

  • Solid understanding of TI project sequencing

  • Proven leadership and trade coordination skills

  • Strong communication and organizational ability

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Assets:
  • Experience in fast-track commercial TI projects

  • First Aid certification

  • Experience with light scheduling and material coordination
Compensation
  • Salary: $90,000 – $105,000 (depending on experience)

  • Vehicle allowance or gas card
