Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking an experienced Change Management Specialist for their client for this remote role for their Winnipeg based client to lead and deliver complex healthcare transformation projects. This role requires strong expertise in project management, organizational change management, and healthcare delivery environments, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, clinical stakeholders, and executive leadership.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience delivering technology-enabled transformation initiatives, applying structured change management approaches, and ensuring sustainable adoption of new processes and systems within acute care settings.

Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Prosci Change Management certification are required for this remote long term role.

Responsibilities
  • Lead organizational change management (OCM) activities for information technology projects, ensuring alignment with Shared Health’s strategic goals and objectives
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify impacted groups, assess change readiness, and develop targeted engagement strategies
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to ensure stakeholders are informed, engaged, and supported throughout the change lifecycle
  • Design and deliver training, workshops, and materials to prepare staff for adoption of new systems, processes, and workflows
  • Conduct readiness assessments and feedback sessions to evaluate organizational preparedness and identify barriers to change
  • Serve as the OCM lead for the implementation of clinical dictation solutions, ensuring smooth adoption across healthcare teams
  • Lead organizational change activities for enhancements to information security services, including implementation of electronic security tools, role/account provisioning, and staff awareness of security best practices
  • Act as the primary OCM lead for implementation of the Altera Sunrise suite of applications in acute care settings, providing guidance on workflow adoption, stakeholder engagement, and communications
  • Lead change management initiatives for surgical information system implementations within acute care facilities, ensuring alignment with clinical and operational workflows
  • Monitor and report on change management effectiveness and adoption metrics, recommending adjustments to improve outcomes
  • Collaborate with project teams, clinical staff, and IT teams to ensure that OCM strategies are integrated with project plans and deliverables
  • Maintain compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements related to organizational change activities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, applying lessons learned from prior OCM activities to future projects
Qualifications
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Prosci Change Management certification
  • ITIL foundations certification.
  • 10 years’ experience performing organizational change management activities. Experience should include organizational readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, development of change management plans and preparing targeted communications.
  • 10 years’ experience in business analysis in a healthcare environment. Activities should include working with and organizing stakeholders and developing requirements from stakeholders.
  • 3 years’ experience performing organizational change management while implementing a standardized clinical plan across multiple healthcare organizations.
  • 5 years’ experience developing training materials and curriculum for process changes in healthcare.
  • 1 year of experience implementing or upgrading the Altera Sunrise suite of applications or similar EHR in a clinical environment.
  • Criminal background check is required.
